Maharashtrian Kakdi Thalipeeth
A healthy morning or evening breakfast recipe that is made with various flours like wheat flour, gram flour and rice flour and fresh grated cucumber. This flat Indian bread can be served with pickle, chutney or raita with simple everyday spices, green chillies and garlic.
Ingredients :-
- 1/2 cup gram flour (gram flour)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup rice flour
- 1 cucumber, peeled and grated
- 1 tspn turmeric powder
- 1 tspn cumin powder
- 1 tspn Carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1 tspn Cumin Powder
- 1 tspn red chilli powder
- 2 Green Chillies, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
- 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped,
- salt to taste
- ghee for thalipeth
1.sabse pahle cucumber ko grate kar le aur uska pani acchese nikal le
2.ab ek big bowl le aur sare aate ko bowl mein mix kar le
3.ab aate mein grate kiye hue cucumber, turmeric powder, cumin powder, ajwain, red chilli powder, green chillies, coriander leaves, salt sab acchese mix karle aur thoda sa pani dal kar soft dough taiyar Kare aur 5 minutes ke liye rest karne rakh de
4.ab gas par pan rakhe us mein ghee dale aur hath ko pani se gila Kar ke aate ko hath se pan mein spread kare aur phir acchese dono taraf se golden brown hone tak sek le aur ek plate mein nikal le
5.tasty thalipeth ban kar taiyar hai thalipeth ko garama garam dahi ya chatni ya pickle ke sath surve kare
