Idli Upma



A quick way to use up leftover idlis, it can be served for breakfast or snack. It tastes delicious and is easy to make..
Ingredients :-
  • 5-6 idli
  • 1 tbspn oil
  • 1/2 tspn mustard seed 
  • 1/2 tspn urad dal
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1 red dry chilli chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • 1 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1/4 onion chopped
  • 1/4 tomato chopped
  • 2 tbspn coriander leaves chopped 
  • 1tspn grated coconut
Method :-
1.sabse pahle 5-6 idlis le aur idlis ko crushed kar le
2.ab ek pan le us mein 1 tbspn oil dale phir us mein 1/2 tspn mustard seeds and 1/2 tspn cumin seeeds dale aur crakle hone de
3.ab 1/2 tspn urad dal dale and golden brown hone de phir mix kare
4.ab 1 red dry chilli and 1 green chilli and 1 tspn turmeric powder dale and mix kare
5.ab 1 tspn chopped onion and 1 tspn tomato dale and salt dal kar mix kare
6.ab 2tbspn coriander leaves dale and mix Kare
7.ab grated coconut dale and mix karke garama garam surve kare

Idli Manchurian


Ingredients for manchurian :-
  • 5-6 idlis
  • 1,1/2 tbspn maida
  • 2,1/2 tbspn cornflour
  • 1/4 tspn black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbspn oil
Ingredients for manchurian gravy :-
  • 1/4 cup onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup capsicum chopped
  • 1,1/2 tspn garlic chopped
  • 1 tspn ginger chopped
  • 2 tbspn green onion
  • 1/2 tspn soya sauce
  • 1 tbspn red or green chilli sauce
  • 1,1/2 tbspn tomato ketchup 
  • 1/2 tspn cornflour
  • 1/4 tspn black pepper powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbspn oil
Method :-
1.sabse pahle idlis ko cut kar le small pieces mein and refrigerator mein rakh de 30 minutes ke liye
2.ab ek bowl le us mein 2,1/2 tbspn cornflour, 1,1/2 tbspn maida, 1/2 tspn black pepper powder, 1/2 tspn red chilli powder and salt dale aur pani dal kar mix kare aur ek smooth batter bana le
3.ab smooth batter mein idlis ke pieces ko batter mein dal de
4.ab ek pan le aur 2 tbspn oil dale aur idlis ko shallow fry kar le golden brown hone tak aur phir ek plate mein nikal le
5.ab ek pan le us mein 1 tbspn oil dale and 1/4 cup onion and green onion dale and fry kare, ab 1tspn chopped kiya hua ginger and garlic dale aur fry kare, ab 1/2 cup capsicum dale aur fry kare
6.ab cornflour mein water mix kare and mix kare aur phir pan mein dal de and phir 1/4 tspn black pepper powder dale
7.ab shallow fry kiye hue idlis ko pan mein dale and 1 minute pakaye
8.ab idli manchurian ban ke taiyar hai khane ke liye idli manchurian ko garama garam surve kare.
