Lemon Rice / Nimmakaya Annam
Ingredients :-
A special andhra recipe which is hugely popular all across south india and is always made during occasion and it is yellow colored tempered tangy lemon flavored rice..
- 1 cup rice cooked
- 2 tbspn oil
- 1 tbspn peanuts
- 1 tspn chala dal
- 1 tspn urad dal
- 3-4 vertically slit green chillies
- 1 tspn mustard seeds
- 2-3 dried red chillies
- 6-8 curry leaves
- 1 tbspn coriander leaves chopped
- 3/4 tspn turmeric powder
- salt to taste
- 1 tbspn lemon juice
Method :-
1.sabse pahle 1 cup rice ko pakale aur alag rakh de
2.ab ek kadai le us mein 2 tbspn oil garam kare ab 1 tbspn peanuts dale aur fry kare
3.ab 1 tspn chana dal and 1 tspn urad dal dale aur acchese fry kare
4.ab vertically cut kiye hue 3-4 green chillies dale and mix kare
5.ab 1 tspn mustard seeds dale and 2-3 dries red chillies dale and acchese crackle hone de
6.ab 6-8 curry leaves dale and acchese crackle hone de
7.ab 3/4 tspn turmeric powder dale and salt dale and acchese mix kare
8.ab 1 cup of rice dale aur acchse mix kare
9.ab 1 tbspn lemon juice rice ke upar dale aur acchese mix kare
10. ab 1 tbspn coriander leaves upar se dale aur acchese mix kare
11.tasty lemon rice ban kar taiyar hai, lemon rice ko with pickle or plain garama garam surve kare..
